Jack Posobiec had an interesting take on the Lee Statue.
The Left HAS to take down the icons of American past - otherwise they can't set up their new state in their image.
And at this point the left on Lee has TWO choices: Either...
1. They tear down the statues, melt them down, and make "Black Lives Matter" key fobs for the Left to hang their EV car keys from.
or...
2. They do what they can like has been done to Jefferson and Lincoln before them: "filter" the extant information and only publish that which supports the state. A "Blackwash" if you will.
Example 2 like Lincoln wanting to move Blacks BACK to Africa. Example 2 like the Jefferson "boys" taking advantage of the kitchen help. (which everyone did in 1790 because everyone "knew" Blacks were sub-human.) This and much more "non-agenda" information has been suppressed in the name of supporting the regime in schoolrooms and Independence Day celebrations nationwide.
And Posobiec makes the case that option 1 would be FAR preferable to Lee since more than anyone else he would realize that "the victors get to write the history books" - and as the "loser" in the Civil War, history was never going to be kind to Lee.
And Lee would not care for his life to be "filtered" for the mass consumption, or the victor state purpose.
This horse will miss "Traveler" no doubt. And perhaps miss Lee as well. Just because one wars for the "opposition" doesn't mean that one can't respect them.
Possibly even admire them.
And admiration last a whole lot longer than automotive key fobs. Or even statues.
