This is on sale (clearance) for 8.44 per case of twelve. I have this and it tastes fine. Of course Dh doesn't care for it but he can be a dork. That's okay, I'll have ham in my beans and he won't, although if I put it in his beans he would eat it, but he would complain.

I noticed the sodium content seems high for this product if that is an issue for anyone. 1500mg per 5oz can.

I'm thinking of buying 5 cases of this, but don't like many of the pressed ham products like SPAM. I can't find it local right now to taste-test. Since you've had it, do you know if this is like "ham diced off the bone" or more like a pressed ham product that is then diced?

Its not like ham diced off the bone, if it was it would be very expensive. Its small chunks and processed of course but I think it tastes fine. It does not taste like the one pound canned hams, to me its better. Although I have both. Its meat and that can be important. I already have 5 cases and I ordered two more. I've never eaten spam and have none in my pantry.

ETA: the taste is very similiar to the 5 oz cans of ham that Hormel use to have. I say use to because they've been impossible to get for many months. I have some of those too but not nearly as many. I've been stocking those canned hams for years and years.

Apparently the flat tire problem was do to a valve that DH put on it that tells you if your tire is low, it malfunctioned and let all of the air out. God is good. I still have to by one for a spare.
