As a former US Federal Personnel Clerk, I think they will try very hard to poach from other agencies and target some recently retired or discharged military veterans; especially those with some background in bookkeeping. If they have too much trouble getting enough warm bodies, look for a new "specialist training" position that will allow for hiring "trainees" (at a lower GS level) who only work under the guidance of an experienced IRS employee for at least one to three years and who will be expected to take either in-house training in accounting and tax preparation and/or study in some local college (or virtual college) program covered as a job training benefit.

When I was working for the US Attorney's Office in San Francisco, they simply couldn't keep secretaries because they could hire after their one year of "special training" as full legal secretaries for thousands of dollars a year more than the government was allowed to pay them.

But the system used to train and pay the secretarial trainees is similar to what I think they will have to do with these essential Military Style IRS Police if they don't get enough people with both the military/law enforcement and financial skill sets. They will simply create those trainee positions at a GS level slightly lower than the full positions have and automatically promote individuals who pass their training period to being a "full agent" after XYZ period of time.

Unlike the Bay Area US Attorney's office, there is not likely to be a lot of competition that will hire away what are basically the accounting tax police/private army with guns. Blackwater perhaps and the military itself, but not a lot of competition there that I can see.

It depends on if they use the same government qualified pay scale used by all other government hires. And if they don’t I can see other government employees having something to say about it.

They will adjust pay and requirements to fulfill their mission, and other employees will follow orders if they want to stay employed.

A GS-5 makes a salary of $31,000 to $41,000 per year. That’s salaried. They don’t get paid by the hour. And to reach GS-5 you have to have a minimum of a AA or AS. Then there are the job specific requirements.

They may get some initial hires that they’ll show off … but the turnover is going to be pretty dramatic. The IRS already had an attrition rate of nearly 20% and they‘ve failed to meet hiring quotas several years running. Unlike the public sector, government is not free to simply say we can’t hire anyone at $10/hour so we are going to bump it up the $15/hour.
Unless they changed it (totally possible) I got paid by the hour as a GS 5 and a GS 6 - I did have a basic salary but if I worked over time I got paid over time hours, if there was unpaid leave we did not get paid for that time period.

Legally they really can't do that, UNLESS congress passes special legislation - they can get extra pay for living in certain areas that congress has deemed need a higher pay check but that is across the board.

The only other way out of this, and again I don't think the IRS can legally do it, would be to "contract out" the work to a "private agency." But I don't think that would be legal in this case, but I'm not sure it wouldn't be either - but again I'm pretty sure congress would have to approve it.

I feel this is somehow tied into the implementation of fed coin. It's ready to be implemented and they will create a reson. The fed has no more tricks to keep the ponsi scheme going .

Not as easy as it sounds, which doesn't make it impossible, but it usually doesn't happen fast. Because while other Federal Employees can not strike, once they start tinkering with the basic civil service system thing can complicated very quickly. Just as in the Clinton Administration, all they did was try to throw out the 50-year-old rule book that had been used to decide everything and anything you can possibly imagine. The course I had to take on just how to use it was five full days long!

So officially they threw it out, were not able to get congress to agree on anything to replace it, and within about a month agencies were quietly using it again and as far as I know, they still are (it does get updated constantly). That's because it was based on legal, governmental, and departmental decisions going back to the 1930s. I remember our trainer telling us - "IF you need to know what to do if some employee punches his boss in the nose a few hours before his one-year provisional period of probation it is in here, everything is in here!"

The agencies simply couldn't function without some sort of rule book, just throwing out the old one didn't work because things come up all the time that personnel offices and others have to deal with.

Also, there have been firings and sometimes legal cases over agencies that "bumped up" the GS status of some jobs just to get the folks higher pay. If those "promotions" failed to meet the general criteria for that GS level of job, not only was it a rare reason higher-up folks could get fired, but it could mean the employees all got bumped back down to the lower levels. I saw it almost happen in one office and I only worked in personnel for about one and one-half years.

Why do I have a feeling they are going to have a tough time filling those positions and that turnover is going to be astronomical? LOL. Mall cops need not apply.
Because they are classified as “Special Agents” they get a 25% pay boost due to the extra 10 hours a week requirement…according to the links in the job posting I followed.

This feels nothing more than nefarious to me. Even though I'm exempt from State and Federal taxes, I would have all of your backs on this issue and wouldn't hesitate to fight beside any of you. Except the asshole Federals that have surely infiltrated this web site. It just might be time to turn TB2K into a private country club. Just sayin'.

The accounting office I am familiar with says to call the IRS after 3pm PST. You are more likely to get agents from the Fresno, CA, and Ogden, UT, offices which tend to have different demographics.

Depends on what the paycheck is, if the paycheck is decent, a lot of minorities will jump on it.

They will definitely jump on that paycheck! That will be the ONLY form of exertion and action their new “employer” will get out of them because then they will just sit on their @sses and get paid…and get away with it just like they get away with everything else.

I believe that I know why.

Over the past month since my DKA episode, I have had some incredible
nightmares, the latest one just several hours ago. It was so bad,
as I thought that the DKA was returning, however I keep a glucometer
within reach on my nightstand. Checked my glucose, and it was 67.
The nightmare was so bad, that I was shaking to the point,
that I could not stand up and get out of bed.

The nightmare went away, and I was able to get out of bed,
however the shaking is still bad. I can barely type this post,
hands trembling really bad.

It is correct, that most of these new IRS Gestapo agents will be
POS Africans, however their stated purpose is incorrect.

These new IRS agents, will be the enforcers of slavery reparations.

I have spoken about this many times on this board, about when I
listened to urban talk radio, over 20 years ago. On one special
broadcast about reparations, one POS African sheboon said,
"we want houses, and we want land". The special quest on that
broadcast was a new Black Panther, and he told the sheboon,
that they would be getting their houses and land,
which of course will be taken from White people.

There you have it. They will kick in doors, kill who they have to kill,
and then formally seize the houses and lands, of that particular
unlucky White, all under the pretense of owing taxes.

Nothing much has been heard recently, on slavery reparations,
however I expect that to change soon, as the POS Communists
demoncraps must get every last POS African to the polls,
in order to thoroughly steal, the November 2022 mid-term elections,
which I truly believe they will do.

Do not forget, it is not your country now, its theirs.

You must follow the instructions exactly as they are presented to you. This proctored exam will take approximately four hours to complete. Step 5: Interview. Conducted at an IRS-CI field office by senior managers.

Step 6: Tentative Offer of Employment via email. If you pass the interview, you will receive a tentative offer of employment via email. This offer will also identify the post of duty (POD) that you would be assigned to if you successfully complete the hiring process listed below.

Step 7: Background Investigation / tax compliance check

Step 8: Medical Evaluation

Step 9: Firm Offer of Employment. You will receive the firm offer of employment once you successfully complete the initial background screening, tax compliance check, and medical evaluation (pending final background investigation).

Step 10: Special Agent Basic Training (National Criminal Investigation Training Academy) You will be provided a reporting date to attend the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center to complete your training. This training will last approximately six months and is located in Glynco, Georgia.

Those qualifications will knock out most of the BLM/Antifa types. Additionally, if they are working they can’t during the same time stream be an activist out in the friend creating mayhem. The required writing and proctored test will turn a lot of them off.

Not only will the usual cannon fodder not qualify if these requirements are actually used (and there are not a lot of "exceptions granted," but they obviously did get a waiver from the start to alter or increase the salaries which are very rare in the Civil Service.

Since the military is having a difficult time finding people qualified to sign up, especially in some sections of society, usually because of criminal records or not being able to pass a drug test, the IRS "Goon Squad" is likely to have the same problem. So I really wouldn't worry about the employees all being gang members or ghetto rats.

I'd also expect the age range will have to increase to at least 45 because the majority of qualified people who might be interested are likely to be either former military or people already in law enforcement, who would like a career change. Also, there will be lateral transfers from places like the forest service some of whose employees are already qualified to carry guns and act as police in certain situations in National Parks.

Those are also the groups of people least likely to have the drug, arrest, or tax issues that are found in the general population these days.

To quote my old boss back in 1989, "If we couldn't hire anyone who had ever smoked MJ in college we wouldn't have many employees."

That was in 1989, not to mention I saw people rejected from working at the Department of Justice who would have been lateral employees from other Federal Agencies because their taxes were in dispute. That comes up a lot and unless there's a resolution, there are many Federal Jobs a person just can't have; and that includes working at the IRS.
