GOV/MIL FUNG ADVSORY: I Have A Bad Feeling

Had slight headache before bed, then toss and turned all night, then up with migraine from hell, no temperature so there's that.

For me, bad feelings like I drank 750ml bottle of cheap Canadian whiskey. Perhaps I should of.

I went to bed with a mild migraine and woke up with a severe migraine right as I was dreaming(I hope it was dream) that I could hear automatic gunfire shooting at the highway walls from a motorist traveling by where I live.
I took 4 ibuprophen and went back to bed (3 am) but it did not touch my migraine.

Don’t let the Piss Ants get you down…
No doubt there are... things looming out there, kind of like that movie witht he people in the store and the fog!

Is it an economic collapse? None of us could say that (except for the timing) is a surprise.

A Global War? China has to decide to shit or get off the Formosa/Taiwan pot beforme their window closes. Putin faces somewhat the same choice in his adventures to recreate the Russian Empire. Again, aside from timing, not a shock.

Internal political upheaval/CW? Lower down the scale, but with the saber rattling from the old Commie Sanders, the DemonRats ramming through their seizure of government legislation could trigger that.

We're supposedly in the midst of a "pandemic" and despite the howling of the authoritarian mob, are actually making our way through this quite well.

I don't know which poison to pick. Maybe if we close our eyes it'll all go away? ;)

No....my youngest boy has
come down with Covid/Sars...he works at a Detroit area steel plant.
He says lots of the workers out sick. He has been to several funerals of YOUNG workers who have worked there..
All under 50.

Generally speaking...I AM DEPRESSED.

However....there are other factors that are fueling my negativity. This thread is not about my son...it's about the WORLD.

The full moon was yesterday.
Someone not on this board said it was causing all sorts of anxiety, and that’s a real thing in my house right now!
Now, to be fair....I’ve developed an anxiety issue while caring for DH too, but I still think we’re all living with so many doom issues it’s causing a PTSD effect.

I literally have to ask in prayer for help with keeping the anxiety in control.

The greatest consolation I have during these times is that God is in charge. These times have been prophesied about. God "wrote the book" and He knew this was going to happen - had to happen - to bring about the final conflict. We need to stand in holy places - have faith, be actively engaged in prayer, and feel the peace of the Lord - not as the world offers peace, but only as He can offer peace.

Most of us are feeling stressed not knowing what is going to happen. Only God knows. I try to live day to day and not look very far ahead. I don't drink but taking L-theanine and Ashwagandha helps me deal with the daily stress of life. I also try to limit my exposure to the mind-warping, brain-washing news media.

Jeff, revert to your training. Train and prepare for the worst, hope for the best, and above all, deny survivors guilt, if your are so fortunate. God deals the cards. It’s up to us, to play them the best we can…

All the Best,

OA

My feelings range from stock market sell offs to WWIII. Take Your Pick. Feeling Very Depressed....and that feeling for me is unusual.

Doomer fatigue? Maybe?

The older I get, the less I am able to meet these times (I suppose it’s the same for everyone, everywhere) but living through a reset, collapse, CWII, etc. isn’t usually kind to anyone, especially the older.

Add to that how many are infirm, overweight, soft mentally/emotionally, etc.

But then there’s this…

Most of us here are impressive libraries who’s value to the young, strong, and healthy will be crucial.

Like the old saying, “Every time an old person dies, a library burns.”

So, perhaps it’s your role to be an integral link in the survival of further generations as they survive the reset and rebuild?

That may mean it’s your speciality…like the kind of guys who only shine when extraordinary events take place?

Ever know someone with a singular talent?

Perhaps they were uncanny in their skill at something not useful in ‘normal’ times and situations?

Could be they’re incredibly good at killing? Shooting? Beating wholesale arse?

Then when the normies are out of their element, this odd duck shines?

I never had true anxiety until maybe the last couple years. I worry about my kids so much it's almost out of control. Last night I was texting in our group text with DD's and the oldest in MA wasn't answering which is not like her at all no matter time of day or night. Of course that started all the random thoughts in my head. Had to take some Xanax to fall asleep. Of course they are fine just fell asleep early.

Skip to DD in L.A.. Not sure if you all saw this but this is only about a mile from her house which, at one time, was considered a "safe" area. The crime is so far out of control in L.A. it's disgusting and I worry about her constantly. Her father was on Fox news this morning

UCLA grad student fatally stabbed while working at high-end LA furniture store
A UCLA grad student was fatally stabbed by a random maniac while she was working as a consultant at a high-end furniture store in Los Angeles, police said.

Brianna Kupfer, 24, was alone and working at Croft House on North La Brea Avenue at around 1:50 p.m. on Jan. 13 when a stranger walked in and knifed her to death, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The unknown male suspect, who is believed to be homeless, then fled through the back door and walked calmly down an alley, cops said.

Kupfer, of Pacific Palisades, was discovered dead on the floor by a customer about 20 minutes later.

The victim was studying architectural design and worked at the furniture store as a design consultant.

Her distraught dad, Todd Kupfer, said Brianna had been set to fly out to New York late Thursday evening to celebrate a friend’s birthday — but was killed just a few hours before her flight.

I’m sorry!
I’d say you have legit things to worry about when it comes to your family though!

Maybe ask if they can just send you quick “all is well” text at night?
Even one of those thumbs up replies is enough to ease your mind.

I, too, had trouble sleeping last night and have been having unusual anxiety lately. I can usually pretty well take in stride anything that comes my way. Then just a few minutes ago I looked out to the north after hearing loud noises and saw 4 (and possibly more) black helicopters flying in formation east to west. We don't usually have much helicopter traffic in this area so am wondering what that is all about.
