Went to buy a new computer. Ask the salesman if I could transfer my Trend antivirus to this computer and how.
He asked what is Trend?
It's the antivirus software Best Buy (which is where were getting the new one) sold me when we bought the last computer here.
Never heard of it.

Sigh, my now ex-wife was not exactly impressed with the food chain in the Rocky Mountains. One day I got tired of trying to keep her from getting herself killed by some big assed predator. I just told her to do what ever floated her boat, her life insurance was all paid up. Should have kept my big mouth shut. She quit doing stoopid stuff. Heavy heartfelt sigh...

Are you paying for your Trend subscription? And if so, why? The antivirus built into Windows is more than adequate for the vast majority of internet users. If you are for some reason still paying for antivirus and don't want to cancel, just log in to your account and download it to the new machine.
