The coolest prep item...

Hi friends

...I was out shopping around today and I wound up at Sportsmans warehouse.. I found the coolest prep/ survival item that I have seen in a long time.. It is called a ZIP-VAC.. It is a small portable vacuum sealer for anything you want to seal up against air, the great spoiler...

This thing has a rechargeable hand held vacuum unit and a hand pump.. both work really well, one without electricity.. You can suck out the air using the special bags that come with the unit and you can buy more as you need them...

At Sportsmans warehouse it sells for $39.99 but they are on sale at Cabellas for $29.99...Extra boxes of sealer bags are $7.50 and they come in two sizes.. This is a great way to have a food sealer for at home if you can't afford the big one at Costco or if you are having to bug out or just camping out..

Have had my eye on that ever since we got Cabella's ad - and they had them on for $19.95 a few weeks ago, so am hoping they put it on again. The only Cabella's near here is about 100 miles away so don't get there very often, so am hoping it is on sale when we go!!
