God has a plan, Trust it!
You couldnt have paid me to go to any fireworks event this year. With all the warnings after the Roe v Wade thing and how people were going to give retribution for their perceived loss of freedom, it wouldnt have been wise to go to any of the events. I dont normally go anyway because it is a field day for drunks and pick pockets anyway.

A 24-year-old man was killed and his 25-year-old sister was severely injured after both were hit by a vehicle following the Menomonee Falls fireworks show Sunday night in the Pick 'n Save parking lot.

The crash was reported just before 10:10 p.m. at N77 W14435 Appleton Ave. The 18-year-old female driver from Germantown reportedly lost control of her vehicle and struck the two siblings in what Menomonee Falls Police are calling "an unintentional act."

The victims, both from North Carolina, were taken to hospitals by the Menomonee Falls Fire Department for serious injuries. The man later died, while the 25-year-old woman is being treated for life-threatening injuries.

Two juvenile passengers were in the 18-year-old's vehicle. All of them were uninjured.

The driver remained on the scene and was cooperative with the investigation, Falls police said in a news release.

Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor in the crash, police added.

This crash is still under investigation by Falls police and the Wisconsin State Patrol.

Several law enforcement agencies responded to assist with traffic control, interviewing witnesses and the crash investigation.

Anyone who witnessed the crash or has video is asked to contact Falls police at 262-532-8700.

The fireworks show began at dusk at Menomonee Falls High School, which is across from the Pick 'n Save on Appleton Avenue.
