Why all the NAME changes?

Are you trying to hide your past? Now, I recognize "Anne in TN" has become "Anne the Doomer", but if you have changed your name completely, how on God's green earth am I going to put a face on your new name?

You are misunderstanding me. A domain name is not the same name used on this forum. I only changed Anne in TN to Anne the Happy Doomer because I could no longer have the phrase, "Happy Doomer" beneath my name on my posts. I didn't want to give up Happy Doomer so I had to put it on my name.

As far as a domain name, that is something totally different. That is a dot com name for a web page.

Gee ANNE, I just used your name change as an example. This has nothing to do with your domain name post.

My concern is losing posters I know, who may have completely changed their handle.

Then again, all these new handles I am seeing may be NEW members. If this is the case, I'll say WELCOME and keep my mouth shut.

I don't think it is so much changing handles as it is reclaiming old ones that were lost in changes in previous boards. Some of us had our originals taken by someone else before we got registered again after the rollover.
