We shouldn't do anything, it ain't got anything to do with US. Let the EU deal with it it's in their neighbor hood not ours. I'm sick of seeing our money and youth being wasted on those thankless maskholes in Europe.

It all depends how Putin attacks. If he just invades Ukraine, then we will likely engage in some way. If it coordinated like China taking Taiwan and Russia taking out all our satellites, there is not much we can do. even our missiles are connected to those satellites.

There a lot of moving parts this day. I am not sanguine at the present time.
I chose sanctions. I think as long as Putin stays out of any of the NATO countries then we wont get directly involved. Mayb provide the Ukraine with some intelligence but that is about it. Realistically all our forces in Europe need to be on the defensive to protect those countries. We havent, as far as I can find, moved any significant forces from the states to the region so we cant do much militarily anyway. By the time we could get forces there it would be over except for some resistance fighting.
I believe that if Putin goes after the Ukraine there is a good chance it will be in coordination with China going after Taiwan. It will paralyze our forces because the (lack of)leadership wont know which way to go. I also believe that if they both go at the same time we will see massive cyberattacks here aimed at our banking, internet and energy infrastructure.

Seriously, we should not spend one more dollar, nor send one more precious American military member's life to fight a war in Europe's backyard.
I have family there, but they and their leaders are doing nothing to stop any of this. Gonna be a pretty cold winter for them, I fear. Oh but they will line up like sheep to get their booster shots.
Captain Pudding Cup can stir the pot with the russian president all he wants...but another war for us to finance and send our children of to fight and die in... especially in support of a nation which he and his corrupt family have business ties to...
