A thread yesterday on the Main requested sources for a felted hat. I have never felted, but this 35 min video gives a step-by-step tutorial on making a winter hat - this is real felt, not just tossing a knitted piece into the dryer. There isn't much to buy for equipment (That's nice!). Tempted to try this. The instructor speeds up things in the video, so the process probably takes a couple of hours.
