We went and did a big shop in town yesterday. Prices are definitely up. But we got almost everything on the list and a few extras. Everything was stocked good.
I did want a USB fan for the cabin and a small Bluetooth speaker and cashier at dollar store gave me both half price so $5 each! They both work really well too.
Fireworks were all around us for hours last night. Going to take the boys and go to the little lakeside park and stay and watch fireworks in town. Take a picnic and swim there.

Okay from Walmart I ordered some epsom salt (8 pounds), calamine lotion (4), gauze pads 2x2, eye wash solution (2 pack), baking soda

I do have plenty of Benadryl and otc pain meds on hand (and will continue to pick up more as I find them cheap at the dollar general). I also have apple cider and white vinegar on hand.

I will continue to add as I can to the supplies. I’ll add lidocaine spray to my list to get as well.

You did good, briches. Everything you listed is good to have for any general all purpose medical planning at home. You never know when you or a family member will need to use those items, not just for MP.

I agree. That’s how I can help “justify it”.

Normally I wouldn’t have ordered four bottles of calamine lotion but for $1.44 each, I figured if I never needed it, it wasn’t a big deal regardless. ;)

One more raised bed done and it will be planted tonight. Sunflowers, corn and squash.
DH found the best stuff for my shingles, both itch and the pain. One was a calamine spray with histamine, the other was a lidocaine spray. Both were so nice for my rash. He also bought a calamine gel with lidocaine. It stayed where you put it and help dry the couple of bad spots I got. We have several cans of each plus regular calamine.
We are discussing which solar generator to buy, he's still not sure they are the best choice. We'll see.
My pantries are fairly full. Concentrating on hba items now.
Happy 4th everyone!
Would you share the brands of calamine and lidocaine spray
