Actually, without a major terrorist attack, the situations aren't really comparable. I do NOT think that we would have caved like Spain did even if there had been an attack, but all we got was threats.

WTF are you smoking ?? You need to stretch a lot to get that from his speech. Bin Laden hates Bush. What I got from the speech is a bunch of Michael Moore propaganda to stir people ( and I use that term loosely) up.
OBL is not on any American's side, not Bush not Kerry. If Kerry had won the election, Bin Laden would have a new enemy. Kerry supports Israel, Kerry claimed he was going to win in Iraq. Those two are plenty reason to keep Bin Laden pissed and busy.

With the Bush mandate, winning in popular vote and electoral vote, and picking up seats in the House and Senate I think your message was heard loud and clear.
And the rest of the Arab world is probably wondering if Syria and Iran are really Syria and Iran, or maybe just parts of Turkey and Independent Kurdistan.
I'm sorry some do not approve of the Bush across the board victory. Their best remedy would be to use their well and obviously used freedoms of speech to get a majority in a free election for a person in a national election(Sen. Clinton) or , say, an issue(non-traditional marriage).
Or they can gnash their teeth in bitterness and frustration. Whatever.
