In the inflation thread I mentioned Visible phone service (a subsidiary of Verizon) - unlimited talk text data - speed limited to 5 mbits for $25 a month AND a free new phone if u send them some old crap one and u can use it as a wifi hotspot for your computer or other devices.
I found out today they offer a bring a friend program - $20 off for me AND the friend.

I live in the middle of nowhere but use a weboost to pump up the signal - not cheap but it works decent.
