I hope there is no retaliation against those villagers. I worry about the powers that be making an example out of them...not sure what the attitude is of the powers that be in that part of the world. If their government sent the doctors and vaxx's it may not be pretty but it bears watching...just for future reference. It may be coming to a theater near you as my little nephew use to say.

Guatemala has a violent history. The military was VERY abusive to the indigenous population. They are hated. Jungle and steep terrain allow people to run away and hide, but that is probably less and less effective.
