US OIL PRODUCTION BREAKS WORLD RECORD

US oil production has hit an all-time high of 13.2 million barrels daily, dwarfing Saudi Arabia’s 9 million per day.

They’re now producing more than any other country ever has.

Driven by the need to keep prices down at the pump, it’s a record the Biden administration is keeping surprisingly quiet about.

I had always contended that all Biden had to do was continue ALL of Trump's policies and initiatives and he would have a great, strong presidency...

I suppose that should Tr*mp lose the 2024 election, he will have no one to blame but himself. If only he had not passed on such a great and strong presidency to Biden...

Wait... We must quickly forget or deny this since it BOTH robs the Tr*mp of a talking point AND makes Biden look so very good.

Hahaha.... The oil record is because of the wells that were started under Trump are coming online and producing. I wonder where we would be if Obiden didn't stop new production the 1st day of his residence.

Undoubtedly part of why they're quiet is coz "Drill Baby Drill!" was a DJT mantra
Drilling actually did go up from Nov 2020 thru Nov 2022. Since January 2023 active drilling has been going down month over month.

Drilling and exploration is one aspect.

PRODUCTION is the other.

PRICES also influence BOTH drilling and production.

Lower prices translate to lower profitability and thus put a damper on drilling and what can be produced profitably. That’s why shale oil and fracking took off when prices were high. It was profitable at those higher prices. But at lower prices it is not profitable so such efforts drop off.

That could never happen for anyone with half a brain.

Why do you continue to come to this site?

I know we're supposed to be civil here but you come across as dumb as one of my weaned heifers.

I had a liberal aunt. Worked in deecee.
Meant well. You remind me of her...
Personally, I tend to wonder (at times) if its not an alt account ...or FJ never left

Odds are sock puppet account of FJ, or one of his affiliates. Remember the kicked toxic members half the time end up being plants trying to destroy the board, fortunately adming team is good at snuffing them out before things go south...

lol... I have been around since the software was free, and before that on Gary North's board. I am no one's sock puppet, nor am I a polly. My greatest offense is that I sometimes loose the battle with my sarcastic self. As for the mods, I respect them all and admire many. I understand my limits, and so I know I could never do their job.

Sometimes, I learn. For example, there are actually several effective alternatives to "forget or deny."

Is this fake news.

last I heard any facts on drilling….it takes minimum of 5 years to bring well to production.
And just curious where are they drilling?
It no longer takes anywhere that long to drill and frack a well. I have friends who are drillers and they can drill the vertical well and then over a dozen horizontal wells in weeks. Then the fracking takes another 3-6 weeks and the well is ready for production. Drilling wells have improved so much in the past three years that unless you are going down 15000 feet and keep getting your drill bit stuck you can drill a well in an amazingly short time. I am only speaking about Wyoming, since I only know people working locally.

How long will these wells produce? Here in the san Juan basin of NW New Mexico they are now pluging and abandoning wells that were drilled in the 50s... up in the Piceance basin of NW Colorado... fracked tight wells just like the Permian..... the wells that were drilled less than 10 years ago are down to a trickle.... EROEI...... if you don't understand this term... spend some time educating yourself before you take that victory lap!

I read an article the other day that said our fracking fields, with the exception of the Permian Basin, were playing out. This brings up the old "peak oil" question of when the extraction of oil will take more energy than will be produced.

why Does it take 5 years in Alaska is my question . The willow project was opened last year To start construction. they said it would be 5 years minimum before production started. I am not sure if they are extending pipeline for that project. Maybe that is why no one wants to drill in Ak.
