Unable to hide true feelings on Obama

I see him on TV, I have to look away in disgust. Am trying to model respect for the Office of the presidency, but just can't. I see a dangerous idiot who has started beliving his own lies about his godhood. His comments about appointing "mutts like me" to his cabinet made me sick. This coming from the POTUS! Calling himself a "mutt?" If I see this pompous affirmative action child shake his thumb and forefinger at me one more time, I am going to rip the cable out of the wall. I have NEVER felt this way about an elected candidate, but I am trusting my feelings on this one. This guy is WAY off and dangerous. How can he be the president of the us???? It's impossible to have academic conversations with Obama supporters. There is visceral, real feeling about him that is alarming in its intensity. If his supporters love him as much as I can't stand him, it is going to get bad around here. The great uniter is dividing us into seriously unreconcialble factions...or maybe it's just me and my latent racism.

I won't look at or listen to the man. Too afraid of the damage done to my brainwaves. I have seen plenty of evidence to back this up.

As for "respect for the office of the President" goes, well - when you're an illegal alien and have defiled said office by hoodwinking yourself (with a lot of help) into the office, it's already been disrespected way more than I could do.

I live in a little REPUBLICAN town, located in a REPUBLICAN county. Went to the post office the day after the elections, heard a lot of people who pretty much are saying the same as you. Was to the post office yesterday, still in an uproar about BHO.

I did not vote for him, you could say I'm still OUT on making my mind up, time will tell. I expect thing to get much worse, can't even follow with the 'before it gets better' side of that.

I do consulting work. Friday I am working and hear BO come on TV loud and clear for his first press conference since the election. Thought I was going to die.

I choose to block any pictures on the internet (thank you AdBlock on Firefox) and I surely do not choose to listen, but I was a captive audience. I thought to myself, how am I going to survive this for 4 years? Instead of having an anxiety attack, I focused on breathing and started humming. I think I will carry an IPOD for those times when the masses need their BO fix and I am an unwilling participant.

Hey, Addison Rose - no kidding - I was at a sandwich shop on Friday and they have TVs in the shop. They had on CNN and I was just getting my drink when CNN announced that the one would be holding his first press conference. Out of impulse I said (to myself), oh &hit, no. This elderly man beside me looked at me and then grinned.

I ate that sandwich as quickly as I could and got the hell outta there so I wouldn't have to listen to the great orator.

It is going to be a challenge to keep my sanity during the next 4 years. So now, I plan on making it a game, if I am caught again having to listen to the BOBS. I want to keep track of how many times he screws up and his 'handlers' have to go back in and explain what he meant. Could be highly entertaining.

On the other hand, I want to hear enough so I know what he is planning. I will say this, BO will not get carte blanche to destroy my country.

I discussed getting rid of cable tv with my family. I cannot stand to hear or see him.

I was channel surfing last night and stopped for a minute on a newer drama. It struck me that the actor in the scene looked like a white Obama. I noticed that behind him on the wall was a painting that looked remarkably like an Obama campaign poster. All the while, the man is talking to a woman about "change." I know enough about subliminal persuasion and NLP that I'm done with TV. It's worse than I ever suspected.

DH and I were grocery shopping yesterday. Standing in the checkout line, I saw several rags devoted to 0bama, his wife, and anything close to either one of them. Oprah's rag was next to one of these things.

Without even being aware of it, I started making loud retching noises while I was leaning over the cart to put stuff on the carousel. DH started laughing and I stoppd and stood there kind of in shock that I did what I did.

I've never done anything like that ever to an elected official. And I've been around quite a few of them. I was shocked at myself. I know for sure if my mother saw me, she'd have whacked me one upside the head, and I'm no spring chicken!

I don't like looking at him at all. I turn my head away, like if I look at him I'll get hypnotized or something.

It's the weirdest thing I've ever done. I mean it.

You're not alone and ditto on your whole post. only it's when ever I see him start to be on tv. Haven't seen the rags yet.

I think we should call this...thing...this phenom that we cannot explain... The MEDUSA effect....

In that I mean how everyone that adores him is almost hypnotized and he could come right out and say that he hates the Living God and these people would STILL give him access to their very souls....
