So...over morning coffee I noticed that DW was deeply engrossed in her laptop. I broke her reverie with, "So, did you hear that President Trump defected to Moscow?"

That certainly got her attention! I then gave her a long and elaborate explanation of a (supposed) thread that I was reading on TB2K. "It's speculated that he chose Moscow because there is virtually no other country where he'd be safe from extradition," I went on. "He's transferred his business interests to his sons and Melania," I said, as I further constructed an elaborate tale.

After a few more minutes of this I asked, does your computer have a calendar function? Then the mental bell rang and I thought she was going to throw her laptop at me ;-)
