Baking tried bread

I tried making some bread ---I was at the grocery store and saw bread at $3+ per loaf
So I decided to try to learn to make it
It is about 50/50 white bread flour and whole wheat
Not bad for the first try --tastes good when warm--I will know how it tastes cold tomorrow

If its not as appealing the next day, toss it in the toaster, it'll be great, some good butter, maybe a spread of jam...

Great job! Especially for a first try. Bread is not so easy to make well.

Looks just right. And I have found that homemade bread makes the best toast, even if it's a little stale.

this is my second attempt
it is a simple white sandwich bread---it came out with a nice crust and a soft inside

Very nice! I've got to go back to baking bread this week... gonna be interesting in this tiny kitchen... but oh, we're tired of store-bought imitation stuff!
