Watermelons on sale.....bought one for the babies......

They didn't know what to do with it!!
Finally took and stuck their beaks in it and put some on the edge of the water bowl.

They FINALLY figured it out and chased each other around trying to get pieces from each other, walking through the middle of the melon, making little gluttons of themselves!!! FUN to watch!!!!

I used to cut the end off a watermelon and they will hollow it ou to include the white rind

Mine love watermelon. Yesterday I found a half-eaten acorn squash in my garden so cut it up and gave it to the chickens. They loved it.
