A section of New York City is now an illegal migrant shopping area and business owners are not happy about the situation.


The scene that has been playing out in Jackson Heights on Roosevelt Avenue near 91st Street features migrant vendors selling items obtained from shopkeepers in the area and also prostitution, the New York Post reported Sunday.


Manager of the local Mi Farmacia pharmacy, Milton Reyes, said, “It’s relentless. You should see it on Saturdays. It’s so heavy you can’t even step onto the sidewalk. There are a lot of doctor’s offices right around here and my customers don’t even want to get dropped off.”


He explained the law enforcement picks up a few of the offenders, however, when the officers leave the vendors return.

Social media users shared their thoughts on the Post article, one individual writing, “NY voted for it. They are now receiving it.”

“NYC block looks like a democrats heaven,” another person commented.

In March, sellers were hawking black market fake green cards and social security identification to illegal migrants in Queens, according to a report.


Per Breitbart News:


Roy Fenoff, an associate professor at the Department of Criminal Justice at the Citadel, South Carolina, said the documents grant migrants access to almost everything a citizen has.
“Once people have these fake cards, they can work, they can travel, they can access a lot of aspects and services in the United States,” he said. “There are people getting these cards that are not here just to get a job, that they have other intentions, and this helps them carry out criminal activity.”

New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) promised in February to slash funding to people who cross the border and illegal aliens as his approval rating dipped, Breitbart News reported.


“In November 2023, Adams authorized city-wide budget cuts where New Yorkers would have public services eliminated to afford waves of illegal immigration to the sanctuary city. The move came as fewer than 3-in-10 New Yorkers said they approved of Adams — a record low for a mayor in New York City,” the outlet said.

According to the recent Post article, prostitutes have joined shoplifting migrants who target local shops and then sell the goods for significantly less money near those stores, according to retailers in the area.

Francisco O’Porta is a security guard at “Lot-Less” who told the outlet the sellers have been training others.

“They have lookouts, you know, people to yell so they can pick up and leave when police come. I am catching a lot, a lot of them stealing. I caught 20 people last week. Twenty in one week. They are hurting business,” he added.

The only thing the businesses can do is sue the city. However, the only ones hurt are the people who live in the city.

I have no idea why a merchant would stick around. The only way to survive is to
a. charge such high prices to normal customers that it offsets theft
b. do not report any cash sales, etc so never pay any taxes.

Very good to hear them moan about what they've foisted on southern border communities since HBO's first term but real hard to muster up any empathy for them.

Not being from NYC and note it is NY City not a national election, I'm wondering IF Dominion was even in the Precinct.

The big brew ha ha was over Dominion in a NATIONAL election, when people voted for positions in the Federal system.

Now if NYC has their elections at the same time, then possible for sure, but if not, ........

Being a red neck hick, from MS we have our local elections on an off national election. And did them both the same way the last two years on paper with an ink pen. Back woods I know.

And 2nd to that did anyone raise a stink in NYC over election fraud? So even if Dominion was involved no one protested?

They got what they voted for.

Whoops, not so fast. They DID indeed raise a stink. Several businesses closed over fear of unrest, and there were at least two protest rallies in NYC alone. Though that was the national election. There's less information about 2022 protests. But considering how the 2020 protests went, you really can't blame the victim for not raising enough stink in 2022.

No harm, no foul. Not being a New Yorker, I don't keep up with their news. I barely keep up with ours. My son has a repour with several state politicians through emails, keeps me up on local political happenings. And my MIL keeps me up to date on all the killings in Tupelo.

But I can still say AOC and Adams. LOL they are what you got.

It's easy to think that, though. Heard enough people tell me Michigan deserved what it got with Whitmer. They also don't like hearing about the protests and the sheer numbers who voted against her. It's getting to be that way in a LOT of places; the red parts are outvoted by huge cities stuffed full of liberals. It's easy to forget that conservatives are everywhere. The question is just how many of them there are.

I get that just ask @summerthyme. But remember this is a city, not a state. In a state NYC and Albany voters can really outvote, even in a true election, the rest of the state.

But NYC, is a city election, and those in the hinderland don't have a say whatsoever in it.

But if you want to go in halvers on it, we can try to stir Summerthyme up and then turn her loose in the city, and see if she can't get something done about all this.

But we'd probably have to find a place to live after it was over. I'm thinking Fiji.
