@KToropin

One wild detail I learned today --

All four of the Army vessels that deployed today in support of the JLOTS mission are captained by either Warrant Officers or Senior NCOs

....that's a CRAZY culture difference from the Navy.
You mean there's not a genuine need for an admiral, a commodore, a captain, three commanders, 8 lieutenant commanders and a shitload of lieutenants and ensigns on the boat to command 30 enlisted guys?

Yeah, well, a (not mythical) CWO5 could handle EVERYONE in that group. A CWO4 MIGHT break a sweat, and a CWO3, allied with 2 or 3 others as ship captains could handle the whole shooting match.

MIGHT need an O-5 or O-6 just to handle outsiders who don't want to talk to a non-officer, 'cuz it's beneath them (LTCOL and COL (Full Bird).

I guarantee that Biden’s puppeteers are thinking they can build the equivalent of the WW2 Mulberry Harbors that were used for the Normandy invasion. Trouble is, that skill is long gone. Today’s planners and builders lack the ability to build anything large scale. This will be a huge Charlie Foxtrot, like everything the communists do.

Actually, Mercogliano indicated that the skill IS still where it needs to be to DO the job, though the TERMS may need to be minorly adjusted.
He actually referenced the Mulberries.

They are talking about a Trident pier for Gaza.

Never mind how long the planning and procurement took for them.

I get the idea this has little to do with humanitarian relief. Gaza is important to the deep state similar to Ukraine. Time will tell what the rest of this story is.
A HUGE LNG deposit was discovered off the coast of Gaza. Israel and the deep state needed to find a way to take sole claim to it. They also want to develop an alternate shipping route to the Suez Canel through the Gulf of Aqaba and the current occupants, the Palestinians were in the way. Huge amount to be made in tolls especially if the Suez is shut down. I'm a Christian and believe the land of Israel is sacred to the Hebrew people ... totally not anti-Jewish. Was raised to believe Jews are God's chosen people, etc, etc. What I witnessed during the Oct 7th massacre was a staged event. A cockroach does not cross that border without IDF knowing about it. Period! Hang-gliders supposedly got through without anyone knowing and IDF were told to stand down and took like 8 hours to respond?? I don't think so. Israel gov't let them in and allowed the massacre to take place. Why? My theory is to wipe Gaza out with claim of righteous indignation to take over and develop the LNG deposits off shore and open a new trade route without having to pay the current inhabitants. That's the only thing that makes sense. I think this port (built in the name of humanitarian aid with US money) is going to be the foothold in taking over the region and opening a new passage way for shipping. Any time something is said about Israel that's not 100% glowing the hate starts ... you're anti-semetic (look up what the term actually means), you're against God's chosen people, blah, blah. I analyzed it as it was happening and tried to connect the dots. I felt the same way as many of you that Israel could do no wrong, had to support Israel, etc., on Oct 7th. What I saw unfold and the gaslighting about the event caused me to change my opinion. My objective conclusion is Israel is removing the Palestinians from the region, will relocate them somplace else, and exploit the LNG deposit and open a new shipping lane.

Perhaps the proposed Gaza pier is actually to secretly evacuate the remaining Hamas leadership from Gaza.
