Even main-stream media is starting to pick up on the fact that the GOP is tearing itself apart like an unbalanced flywheel.
Matt Lauer on the Today show mentioned that we should expect to see these negative sounds bites showing up in Obama's campaign, that it was a gift or a stocking stuffer from the GOP. Makes you wonder if the GOP really wants to win. It certainly questions the motives and whether the GOP has America's best interests in mind or are they like all politicians, self-serving and narcissistic.
I've been saying that all along, the GOP candidates so intent on winning the top spot for themselves have lost sight of the mission, the goal. They have said so many negative things about each other it should be virtually impossible for any of them to get elected after all these negatives are used against them.
Maybe that was the intent all along, especially since it looks like Romney is going to be the front runner. Just like McCain, I think having a RINO run against the DEM is probably a good strategy because the race is going to be decided by the Independents with approximately an equal share voting for the GOP/DEM side. The Independents are NOT going to be thrilled by a RINO but even if the RINO got elected, the left would celebrate because RINOs are to the left of center.
I'm thinking it is going to be a pretty dismal year unless we can get Ron Paul elected.
