I'm not sure that's true. I have Christian friends, even some in the in the Mennonite community, pointing out Christian Nationalism and sharing articles about it on FB trying to draw awareness. Progressive Christianity, anti-racism, and other forms of "wokeness" have been creeping in for quite a while. When we have "one of us" giving us this label, it is worrisome. The church is not nearly as unified as as we would hope.

I have a few Atheist/Agnostic friends that have pointed out that this is in fact happening AND they are pissed off about it.
Most of them are very Libertarian/Conservative/Liberty minded and have said they will stand WITH the Christians any day when it comes to this.
Most of them know what being singled out due to ones beliefs , most were from very Statist Christians, and they knew that was wrong.
You know it's bad when the Atheists are supporting the Christians against an overbearing State.

Perhaps you would be surprised, as I was, that many small towns, at least in the midwest, are not as "Christian" as many stereotypes would suggest.

I have come to detest the term, “christian”, as it has been so watered down and rendered more bland than lukewarm.....
There are all kind of terminology would kind of touch on what a man who walks with The Father ought be called.....
But all that said, I would be honored to stand with such men as the “atheists” and “agnostics” of which you speak.
In England.....you paid TAX AND TITHE, by state dictate.
America is the land meant to be FREE FROM RELIGION, as part of freedom of religion.
Too bad most have taken on the STATE to be their god....

It's because an overwhelming number of hispanics are turning their backs on the democratic party, and for a variety of reasons. So the whole white supremacist/nationalist meme doesn't work anymore. Plus hispanics tend to be very devout to their christian faith, should have seen the uproar, in the various Hispanic groups on facespy, when the pope gave piglosi communion! Many are now abandoning the catholic church because of that move.

The Yankees were fighting the British to a standstill draw from 1776 to 1780. The efforts of Reverend William Martin caused whole Presbyterian churches men to join the Revolution in the south according to some, without his eloquent efforts, there might not even be a United States of America. This is a short except of one of his sermons that incited rebellion amongst the colonists in the Waxhaws. (the area around present day Charlotte, Rock Hill to Lancaster, SC) BTW, In the Patriot, Mel Gibson played "Benjamin Martin" who was a composite of my cousin here and some others.

The content of this sermon is very grim. The appeal back to the times a century before of the Covenanters in Scotland is deeply significant. You can read more about the incident here, with the memorial monument shown above. A young Andrew Jackson was among those who tended to the wounded and mutilated survivors who were brought to the church:

In the afternoon the subject was resumed and discussed with renewed energy—while the appeals of the preacher were answered by even more energetic demonstrations of feeling. When the worship was concluded, and the congregation separating to return homeward, the manly form of Ben Land was seen walking among the people, shaking hands with every neighbor and whispering in his ear the summons to the next day's work...'

Title 42, section 1981 and 1982, IIRC, both differentiate between “White citizens”, a.k.a., “state Citizens”, in whose defense the Constitution was written.....and “US citizens”, a class created by congress to incorporate the recently “freed” blacks into society.....without giving them any real political power or rights.
Then everyone was given the opportunity to assume US citizenship......and just about everyone took the bait.
