There is the Jedi order. But there are folks who hang on to their pre-empire heritages. Some Jedi have defected to a new order, called the Jeb-I order who want to remind all that any strong government threatens confederacies the galaxies over.
To help spread cheer they have an annual redneck games competition.
It includes events such as:
Fencing: but with robots
The Auto-Cleave : how fast can they instinctively cut down a droid
The firing squad repel: how many robots can they take out blind folded
Rock art: sculpting with light sabers
Still working this one out but that is all I can come up with so far.
