I just watched a new podcast on IAF's Twitter page and I see that he has just posted it on his youtube page.

It is pretty intense. It runs 20:15 minutes.

Recommend watching it as well as the 11:20 Adapt 2030 podcast that TxGal posted here a couple or so hours ago

We are expecting some rough weather here, about to start shortly. Hope it fizzles as it often does in my area, but not holding my breath.

Sure hope the power doesn't go out! Entergy actually sent all of us a phone message this afternoon about how if there is an outage they will still be able to get it fixed in a timely manner while maintaining correct social distancing. Talk about pushing political correctness a little too far!

We're going to get that line, too - ugh!! I just finished setting up the bathroom in case we have to hunker down in there. Right now the forecast is for strong winds upwards of 50-70mph, rain, possibly hail, and an isolated tornado can't be ruled out. Anchored down everything that needed it in case of high winds.

I always worry about the livestock, especially the chicken and duck housing. Also the garden, our potatoes and tomatoes are growing like crazy...this won't help them but there's not much we can do except pray. Stuffed all the freezers with frozen water bottles in case power goes out. I loaded up on chicken tenders today and they're in the freezer now. We're supposed to get the storms between midnight and 1am...I really, really hate these night storms, I'm getting too darn old for this stuff!

I'll try to post the podcast in just a bit. Hopefully power will not go out. Martinhouse, I hope you will be well, too!! Our line is supposed to move through quickly and not linger....that may be the only saving grace with this storm system!

AI Takeover of Food Launched - Trumps' Meat XO

Run time is 20:14

Trump has ordered meat plants to reopen -- but there is MUCH more to the story: a hidden battle with the criminal USDA, and a complete AI takeover of the global food supply.

Ducks are pretty hardy. They won't mind the wet or cold. We had a HORRIFIC windstorm here a few years ago, and someone's duck shelter must have simply been carried away with the gales. After things calmed down a bit, I tried to get them to shelter in my yard with outbuildings, but they wouldn't head in, even with feed for a treat. They bedded down for the evening in an empty lot, and I walked over to the the police station so Animal Control could let the owner know where they were, in case they were missed.

There's an awful lot of VERY disturbing stuff about the meat processing industry being posted on Ice Age Farmer's Twitter page.

I don't know how to move those articles and comments around, but it's over there if anyone is interested.

Hey Martinhouse! How did you fare in the storms? No one slept here, constant thunder and lightning, winds around 50mph, but no hail thank heavens. It went on all night long.

I'll go check it now and see what I can bring over, thanks!

TxGal, Our rain started around 7:30 last night and I decided to stay up til it was over. Had the computer unplugged a lot of the time when the thunder and lightning got heavy, but the wind never got as bad as we expected and the rain was totally over around 12:30, so then I went to bed.

It's chilly out today. Breeze from the north and the sun we were supposed to see has only come out for about an hour earlier this afternoon. I decided I didn't want to get wet and chilled, as I planned to scrub the old rabbit cages. So I've stayed in and gotten a nice amount of knitting done. No more good podcasts to listen to, so I'm knitting to the sound of only my own thoughts. I can't stand things like the radio constantly being on and I get an eyestrain headache from changing the distance I focus my eyes back and forth if I try to knit and watch a movie at the same time. I've neve been able to knit without looking at what I'm doing.

Anyway, I'm anxious to get the bunny room finished so I can start getting the rest of my bedding plants into the ground both outside and in the greenhouse. It's getting rather late to be planting, but with the erratic weather, I'm wondering if planting time even matters much any more.

While most of the state is blossoming into spring, areas north of the Brooks Range have still been dealing with cold and blizzard conditions. Early Wednesday morning Utqiagvik saw the thermometer fall to minus 20F, beating the previous record of -19F set back in 1973. It is the first time in recorded history that Utqiagvik saw a low of minus 20 this late in the season.

Utqiagvik, northernmost town in the United States, is the largest city in Alaska’s North Slope Borough and is located north of the Arctic Circle.

Utqiagvik records first record low since 2007

The World Postures for Food Shortages (970)

Run time is 13:33

Daily headlines warn of food shortages and constraints, you should heed the warnings and grow your own. As the economy evaporates messages continue to fill the airwaves that stability will return next month, all the while elites slither off to their bunkers as the 2024 planetary alignment is set to bring extreme volcanism and global liquefaction. FYI: Romania has halted all grain shipments, Russia followed, what country is next?

Being from Minnesota and then having lived over half my life here in Arkansas, I have a hard time picturing tornadoes in Florida!

To me it's a little like visualizing a hurricane in South Dakota!
