Miss Irene (OAD) is one of them, but she's not active anymore. She's in her late 80's, I believe. I miss her!
We have lost way too many of our older members in the past few years.

She's at least 92.

We just discussed Old as Dirt last month- Terrywyn, iirc, was the poster who gave us the good news Irene sold her home and moved into a retirement community after her daughter passed away- but as of last month she was still with us.

Stupid poll.....should of done it a month ago when I was 59, now I had to choose 60-70. Only feel like I'm in my late 40's though if that counts for anything.

If they had of done it 3 days ago I could have chosen a lower bracket.

We all are. Nope, not dying. I just don’t “do time” unless I am working or have a meeting. Otherwise, to me, it is a construct and I pay little attention to it.

I have come to believe that “time” causes all sorts of problems. Just call it a personal problem and don’t worry about it unless you want to think about it.

NOW when I work in the house say, I am production control: I figure out the fastest way to do the job and have a contest with myself. Mainly because I don’t like housework.

What really attracts me to this place is the fact that there are many here who are older and wiser. I've always preferred the company of those older than myself because I can learn so much from their experiences. Whenever I have questions about something I know I'll find the answer here. My deepest thanks to everyone who has helped me and will do so in the future.

I am a stay at home mom (teenager and 7 year old) and wish I had more time to post here. Some days I'm lucky for a few minutes of speed reading. But you all feel like my family. I don't always have time to reply to posts and prayer requests but I do pray for you all.

Since I'm gunking up the thread I might as well throw a "Happy birthday " out to the birthday peeps. Hope it's a beautiful blessed day for you, and everyone here.
