Doomer Granny
Been here since 1999. Followed Yourdon from the old Greenspun board and have been here ever since. I still have an autographed copy of his book. Been here with Dennis since he took over. Those good old days are a long way back in the rear view mirror. I’m in the 60ish range.

Graduated high school in '56. Surprised some of my bowling friends. They are younger and their hair is white and mine has just started turning grey.

Are you dying?
We all are. Nope, not dying. I just don’t “do time” unless I am working or have a meeting. Otherwise, to me, it is a construct and I pay little attention to it.

I have come to believe that “time” causes all sorts of problems. Just call it a personal problem and don’t worry about it unless you want to think about it.

NOW when I work in the house say, I am production control: I figure out the fastest way to do the job and have a contest with myself. Mainly because I don’t like housework.

abby normal

50 and 3/4 here, was lurking for about 15 years before I joined.

What really attracts me to this place is the fact that there are many here who are older and wiser. I've always preferred the company of those older than myself because I can learn so much from their experiences. Whenever I have questions about something I know I'll find the answer here. My deepest thanks to everyone who has helped me and will do so in the future.

I am a stay at home mom (teenager and 7 year old) and wish I had more time to post here. Some days I'm lucky for a few minutes of speed reading. But you all feel like my family. I don't always have time to reply to posts and prayer requests but I do pray for you all.

Since I'm gunking up the thread I might as well throw a "Happy birthday " out to the birthday peeps. Hope it's a beautiful blessed day for you, and everyone here.
