Baking Sweet Potato Pie Recipe?

Does anyone here have a sweet potato pie recipe they would be willing to share? I have been asked to make one for Thanksgiving and have NEVER made one before. Please and thank you.

I've substituted sweet potatoes for pumpkin in my pie recipe. Dh didn't know the difference. I love the pumpkin pie recipe on the Libbey's pumpkin can. I don't know if sweet potato pie has its own recipe though for a true Southern experience.

OK, I just checked my real Southern cookbook. It is a Junior League recipe of an Alabama county given to me by a good friend. If you want, I can type out the recipe. Its a lot like a pumpkin pie, but it has a few differences from pumpkin pie and it does suggest using canned sweet potatoes over cooking sweet potatoes and putting them through a ricer. The difference is this recipe has butter, lemon juice and brandy or sherry in it. I haven't tried it so don't know how good it is.

I've got an awesome recipe from my great aunt in rural Alabama. I just made it a couple of weeks ago and will be making it again for Thanksgiving. It's my favorite pie. I'll type up the recipe this evening when I get home.
