BREAKING — Gov. Ron DeSantis signs bill making it illegal to protest or picket out side of a person’s home. Residential-picketing is punishable by a second-degree misdemeanor.
DESANTIS: “Sending unruly mobs to private residences, like we have seen with the angry crowds in front of the homes of Supreme Court justices, is inappropriate.”
I.e. the same law which prevents picketing Supreme Court Judges houses - but the Just-Us Department doesn't enforce it.

And kind of makes you admire the wisdom of the founders by not "nationalizing" all State Government.

Things like this are why I suspect the Roe V Wade decision may be announced on the last day, they might do it sooner but while the court wants to avoid anything that looks like politics, they know the judges will have to move to a secure location for days or weeks after it is given.

So it would make sense to announce it last, with helicopters ready to fly them and their families to some military base; either that or they will have to call the national guard to protect their homes 24/7 and effectively be prisoners in them for most of the Summer.

Sounds like they are saying there are good people and bad people on both sides. Where have I heard something similar before, which was roundly criticized by CNN and the MSM?

Pro-choice protesters congregated outside Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett’s Virginia home on Saturday, dressed in clothing appearing to be soaked with blood and holding baby doll toys.

"Abortion on demand and without apology," signs held by members of the group Rise Up 4 Abortion Rights read on Saturday as they stood outside Barrett’s home in Falls Church.
The protesters were armed with baby doll props and were wearing pants appearing to be soaked in blood to show a future of forced births if the Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade.

Protests erupted outside of conservative Supreme Court justices’ homes in recent weeks, following the leaked Supreme Court draft opinion signaling the nation's highest court might overturn Roe v. Wade.

BREAKING: Radical Activists Hand Out Address of Supreme Court Justice to Make Threat at His Home

3 minutes

Radical protesters who had gathered to protest the Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade were handing out the address of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, according to a new report from the scene.
Luke Mosiman of the Maricopa County Young Republicans posted the video confronting the protesters in front of the Supreme Court who were organizing the alleged threat against the justice.
“Why are you assaulting a justice and going to their house?” Mosiman said. “Don’t you feel like… that side goes against the Republic and the system. Why would you do such a thing? I would never do that if I disagreed with the case.”
“All I can say is that, you know, we go out there, the police are out there, if it was an issue, they would probably arrest us, so,” a protester with a sign said.
“Well, I think they should,” Mosiman remarked. “I think they should arrest you for even suggesting something. That’s awful. That is an assault on our democracy.”
“Well, I understand that,” the protester said. “And we’ve had people come and ask the police to arrest us. And so far they haven’t, so…”

“Well, I hope you get arrested tonight. What else can I say?” he added.
Becker News reached out to Mosiman, who attested that the protesters were sharing the home address of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, although he states that the protesters would not give him a copy of the literature. Thomas wrote the majority opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson that overturned Roe v. Wade.
“I am disgusted and ashamed that a fellow American would try to disrupt our rule of law by gathering outside of a supreme court justice’s home to threaten and intimidate [him],” Mosiman told Becker News.
In early June, a fully armed man was arrested for attempting to assassinate Brett Kavanaugh at the U.S. Supreme Court Justice’s home in Maryland.

Nicholas John Roske, 26, faces one count of attempting to murder an associate justice of the supreme court, and is facing a possible life sentence after a federal grand jury indicted him earlier this month.
The radical left’s dangerous reaction to the Supreme Court decision underscores the bravery of justices who maintained the independence of the judiciary in the face of organized and very real threats to their lives.

If they're outside a Justice's home they need to join the J6 people. assume room temperature.
Fixed it for ya.

In all seriousness, I fully expect serious attempts to be made on the conservative justices lives. I will not be shocked if they succeed due to the complicity of the deep state and/or the progressive party. It would not surprise me if the deep state directly carried out the attacks and cast the blame on "activists".

The question is... will we the people then allow those who sanctioned the assassinations to appoint the replacements?

This is how I see the United States ending. Either we don't allow it to stand and it's civil war or we do allow it to stand and it's tyranny.

And don't think for a second that either party in the district of criminals will lift a finger to stop it.

Pro-abortion Group Offers Harassment Bounty on Supreme Court Justices
By Charlie McCarthy |

3-4 minutes

A progressive, pro-abortion group has put a bounty on the six conservative Supreme Court justices.
ShutDownDC offered $50 to people who harass any of the justices who voted in the majority to uphold the Mississippi law, Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization that led to overturning Roe v. Wade.
In a 6-3 decision on June 24, the court upheld the Mississippi law that bans abortion after 15 weeks of pregnancy, and ruled that the Constitution does not enshrine a right to an abortion, and that the issue belongs with the states.
Justices Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Brett Kavanaugh, Neil Gorsuch, Amy Coney Barrett, and Chief Justice John Roberts voted in the majority on Dobbs.

"DC Service Industry Workers ... If you see Kavanaugh, Alito, Thomas, Gorsuch, Coney Barrett or Roberts DM us with the details!" ShutDownDC tweeted Friday morning,
"We'll venmo you $50 for a confirmed sighting and $200 if they're still there 30 mins after your message."
The group's post was attached to a retweet of news that Justice Kavanaugh had been forced to leave a Washington, D.C., restaurant by a back door after pro-abortion protesters showed up while he was eating Wednesday.

USC prohibits interference with Federal Judges and courts.

Illegal for them to do that. US Code 1507 and several other articles of the US Code. Will the corrupt, evil, criminal filth of the Biden administration, the Garland Department of Justice, or the muderous DC Police Department do anything to protect these Judges? So far nothing. In fact, the leadership of the Democrat party has encouraged the mobs to attack the Justices. That in itself is against the law. Will anything be done? And when they find and pummel, injure or kill a Justice of the Supreme Court or their families, will anything be done?

You already know the answer.

Cruz Demands That Garland Explain Why He Hasn’t Stopped Illegal Protests Over Abortion Outside Justices’ Homes
Evalyn Homoelle

4-5 minutes

Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, has demanded that Attorney General Merrick Garland attend a hearing Tuesday on abortion to explain why he refuses to enforce laws protecting Supreme Court justices from intimidation and to outline plans for protecting the justices in the future.
Cruz sent a letter Thursday about Garland to Dick Durbin, D-Ill., chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, which will hold the hearing titled “A Post-Roe America: The Legal Consequences of the Dobbs Decision.”
Cruz is a member of the Judiciary Committee. As majority whip, Durbin is the No. 2 Democrat in the Senate besides leading the committee.
“Attorney General Garland was quick to condemn parents who attended school board meetings to protest radical policies pushed by some board members,” Cruz writes in the letter to Durbin. “Yet he has shown little urgency to protect Supreme Court justices despite calls from the Supreme Court marshal and multiple governors to do so.”
Cruz cited instances of harassment, intimidation, and threats made against Justices Brett Kavanaugh, Amy Coney Barrett, Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch, and Clarence Thomas, as well as Chief Justice John Roberts, after someone leaked a draft majority opinion May 2 in the case of Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization and again after the high court offically released its June 24 decision in Dobbs overruling its 1973 ruling in Roe v. Wade.
The Texas Republican expressed disappointment that Garland refused to prohibit the pro-abortion protests outside justices’ homes and mitigate any future violence:
Article III of the Constitution guarantees judicial independence by granting judges life tenure and salary protection so they are not influenced by anything but the law and facts in the case before them. Unfortunately, despite clear evidence that federal law was violated by mobs of protesters at the justices’ homes, the head of the Department of Justice, and chief law enforcement officer of the United States, flatly refused to enforce federal law.
Cruz’s letter points out that Garland refused to act even after the assassination attempt against Kavanaugh at his home in suburban Maryland and ongoing protests outside the conservative justices’ residences:
In response to these threats, Attorney General Garland merely stated, ‘The Justice Department will not tolerate violence or threats of violence against judges or any other public servants at work, home, or any other location.’ Attorney General Garland’s refusal to act, however, calls into question the sincerity of this statement.
Protests and intimidation of justices at their private residences have persisted, causing the marshal of the Supreme Court to request July 1 that Maryland and Virginia officials enforce their own state laws prohibiting protests outside the justices’ homes and prevent further violence through an increased law enforcement presence.
The Daily Signal sought comment on Cruz’s letter from both Durbin and the Justice Department, and awaits a response.
Cruz’s letter demands that Garland answer to the Senate Judiciary Committee for his failure to enforce federal law:
Attorney General Garland should be asked, under oath, why he refused to act in this instance, as well as detail his plans to uphold judicial independence and the rule of law in the face of future such intimidation campaigns.

Justice Roberts Breaks His Silence Over Threats Against the Supreme Court

Katie Pavlich

After months of vicious attacks from the left, including an assassination attempt against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh outside of his Maryland home, Chief Justice John Roberts defended the legitimacy of the Court and its decisions at a Colorado 10th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals conference over the weekend.
"If the court doesn’t retain its legitimate function of interpreting the constitution, I’m not sure who would take up that mantle. You don’t want the political branches telling you what the law is, and you don’t want public opinion to be the guide about what the appropriate decision is,” Roberts said during an interview.
Roberts also lamented forced security measures after a draft of the Dobbs decision leaked to the press in May, sparking Antifa linked organization Jane's Revenge to issue threats against conservative justices and to firebomb crisis pregnancy centers around the country. An investigation was launched into who leaked the draft opinion. At this point, a suspect has not been named.
It’s been 132 days since the draft Dobbs opinion leaked, and the Supreme Court leaker has still not been identified.

— Howard Mortman (@HowardMortman) September 11, 2022
George Washington University Law Professor Jonathan Turley, who was also a participant in the conference, noted the statement was rare but necessary given the current environment. More specifically, he noted President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have issued personal attacks on the Justices rather than sticking to the substance of their opinions.
