Tonight, my wife and I will have a lettuce salad with fresh red and green lettuce from our 2022 garden!
(That does not include turnip greens and spinach that I clipped and served in March that was actually planted in 2021, and thus was technically part of the 2021 garden, even if it was eaten in 2022.)
That is the first meal that is coming strictly out of our 2022 vegetable garden. There will be many more such meals over the course of the year.
