Good point. YouTube has a plethora of videos where SovCits are pulled over, no plates or stickers, no insurance, and no license. They are occasionally let go with a warning, or the court doesn’t want to bother with it. There are also cases where the idjit refuses to identify, has his window broken, arrested, car impounded and towed. Again, buying a sticker from Amazon lends no creditability to him as an “vet”. Ever hear of “stolen valor”? Any state that issues two plates requires both be displayed. Every state makes its own traffic laws and requires license, registration, and insurance. He is currently in violation of some or all of these laws. He just hasn’t been caught yet. Never seen him before, he could have started yesterday. Could be caught tomorrow. Even being caught, arrested, fined, impounded, some of these idjits will do it repeatedly.

A few years ago when I still had my business setting up for vendors at trade shows, and the like, I printed out a form on bright pink 8 1/2x11 paper that said: "Event Official, All Access Pass", and just put it on the front under the windshield. The first time I used it was at Seafair hydroplane races here in Seattle. There were at least a 100 vehicles in front of me waiting to load out after the event and it would've taken me 2+ hours just to get to the front of the line. I drove around all of them and right to the front. The guard just waved me through-I passed the bomb dogs and everything. I just bullsh**ted my way through the slug line and I was out of there in 20 minutes.

Of course, I had no mal intent, but it was easy.

SovCit's are always coming up with new inventive ways to circumvent current
existing driver's license and vehicle registration laws.

I don't think that I've ever seen a SovCit drive away from a traffic stop. the vehicle
is inventoried, and towed. The driver is either jailed or walks away with a court appearance
date. The driver always fights the charge in court and loses. sometimes the driver
files a civil suit against the officers, but loses again. The police pull in extra pay in the
process. I don't see this as a fight worth the trouble?

However, if there's ever a CWII, I would imagine everyone will quickly remove their vehicle
license plates; so they are less likely to be ID.

My last court session (September, 2000) regarding the travel issue (no tags, license, registration, insurance or seatbelt) also involved the purported “aggravated unlawful use of a weapon” (had a loaded .357 in backpack, between seats of beater pickup, no FOID) which, at the time, carried a mandatory year in the State Pen.

Day of reckoning came (cop was a young state trooper….didn’t know me) they held a kangaroo court session after a brief meeting in private chambers with judge and DA, judge waved a magic wand over weapons issues and DA came by my table and laid all traffic tickets in front of me and remarked,
“Mr. Adams, I’ve taken care of all of these for you, have a great day.

I walked out.

No one came to my domicile to look at nor confiscate weapons.
Haven’t had a FOID since I woke up, mid-90s.
Haven’t had a traffic ticket since.

Grow a pair, do some research and make your American presence known or leave even the “sovereign” wannabes alone.
