New Bitcoin Skype malware spreading at 2,000 clicks per hour

A new piece of malware is rocking the Internet society now as it has been found that it is spreading through Skype which basically uses the infected computers to mine for Bitcoins and then make the owner of the malware money. It was discovered by by security firm Kaspersky, the malware is named “Trojan.Win32.Jorik.IRCbot.xkt,” and is spreading at an alarming rate.

If you use skype I hope you have your anti-virus and firewall updated. Not sure if TB members are aware of bitcoin or not but it is a "hot" digital currency these days.

I remember when I first heard of Bitcoins. They were trading for about $7 and I thought I'm not paying/mining that much for some kind of virtual money!

Now they're ~$100 +/-

From what I am hearing, most people believe it will cap at around 200-210. Hard to say....and not like you can do much with it in buying stuff (unless you are on the Silk Road) / or you sell them to someone.
