Harvest Silicone lid rings?

I am seeing these rings for canning jars. How are they used? Can you use them somehow to regular lids or tattlers?

No. Don't use them for canning. There was a tattler lid competitor that sold lids with silicon rings. My folks got me a batch. Within a few years it came out that the silicon naturally released the vacuum needed to seal the jars. They had to provide all their customers with replacement standard rubber rings.
But, they are great for dry storage and for jars that you want to be leak proof. I use them for leak proof seals using peanut butter or other lids on canning jars.

I wish I could find them locally. I have quite a few Wire jars and their rubber seals are getting old.
