Indiana is recruiting Chicago police officers disgruntled by Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s Covid vaccine mandate.
As TGP reported, Chicago upped its battle with police officers over the mandated COVID vaccine, issuing a statement Sunday night threatening the retirement benefits of officers who opt to retire from the force rather than submit to Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s COVID vaccine mandate and reporting system.
Lightfoot ordered back in August that all city employees must be vaccinated by October 15. The deadline was later modified, after objections by the police union, to the end of the year but with a proviso that unvaccinated workers submit to twice-weekly testing at their own expense. All workers must report their vaccine status through an online portal starting this Friday or face being put on no-pay status.
Last week John Catanzara, the head of Chicago’s police union, advised police officers NOT to comply with the city’s COVID-19 mandatory vaccine and reporting requirements.

Catanzara told fellow officers to openly defy Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s vaccine deadline.
“Hey Chicago Police Officers, we’re hiring! No vaccine mandate. Apply today….Lower taxes, great schools, welcoming communities.” – Indiana State Police said.

The police out here (NW Indiana) were extremely busy yesterday. Writin' and reprimandin' everybody they could. All of a sudden, there is activity. It seems as if there was a fire lit under someone's ass.

I was in Indy over the weekend. All I can say is that Indiana would save a lot of money not even putting up speed limit signs. NO ONE pays any attention to them. I have no idea of what the speed limit actually is on I-465. I was doing over 65 to just keep up with the flow of traffic. People were flying by me like I was parked! They were weaving in and out of the lanes just to move up one car length in the end. Apparently almost everyone thought they were qualifying for the 500! I only saw one cop and he wasn't stopping anyone. I actually saw more Indiana State Police after I got out of the city...and into more construction of I-70 west.

Look for her to go on a tirade against the Indianans for "stealing" HER Police force.

They blame downstate Illinois and all the surrounding states for their illegal gun problems. Time after time the ILL-State demon-crats have tried to force other states to adopt their crazy hatred of guns and have passed some of the stupidest gun confiscation bans in the nation for the down staters who don't have thier "gun" problem.

For the longest time they even went after those from Illinois that crossed over the border to buy gas, tobacco and other products to save tons on the special state taxes (and sales taxes). Had unmarked State Police in parking lots taking pictures of license plates of all things.

They fully expect Illinois citizens to pay Illinois sales tax for products that you go out of state to buy! Want you to enter it on your annual tax forms which is a clear violation of the INTENT of the Interstate Commerce Clause.

The Chicago Demon-crats are fully and totally corrupted but this clone of Beetlejuice is the nutsiest of the bunch.
