Herbal Seeing Lost Essential Oil Recipe

Lesson learned the hard way. If you find a herbal recipe on the internet, write the sucker down. Never trust a link.

I found an essential oil recipe that was essentially IcyHot. Worked great for me, but between batches the web link went dead. I remember that it was a mix of carrier oil, peppermint and birch. I used Olive for the carrier at the time, but I don't remember the Birch\Peppermint ratio. Normally I'm of a mind to grind it till you find it, but birch is a bit expensive to come by so I thought I'd ask here to see if anyone has a suggestion.

that sounds like a good one, i dont have an 'icyhot;' but i have a blend i make and put in a roll on applicator for some pain relief that works pretty good for me. i prefer using a roll on instead of a salve, for me it works easier.

equal parts lavender, peppermint, eucalyptus in bottle
then an equal amount of total of carrier oil

for example ill make a batch with a 2oz bottle of each EO, blend it then add 6oz of carrier. i keep some glass roll on applicators filled and stashed around to grab. i bet you could add birch, camphor, etc just make sure the portion of total EO and carrier oil is equal.

Also, i buy a pure DMSO -a specific brand with no smell. this must be diluted 50% with water or something but it has to be diluted 50%. i sometimes make a batch of the EO roll on and cut 50/50 with DMO. that is some fine pain relief that also several hours. you do not have to mix the DMSO with t he essential oil blend, it just is a nice smell and putting it in a glass roll on applicator works great for this. if traveling i can pop a roll on in my purse and carry with me. i buy the roll ons on amazon, and use glass only. not expensive at all.

this is the dmso i buy, it is very good. i got the gallon for about $50 and that will last me the rest of my life i figure. very good stuff for pain relief.
