CORONA Scientists Identify Coronavirus Strain In Cyprus That Blends Delta And Omicron

Ultra MAGA!
While the population was social distancing, wearing masks, and maybe even being locked out of the bar at 10PM because the virus is very smart and still while being triple vaxxed, the virus outdid public health people and the medical community, Delta and Omicron got together and made baby Deltacron....

Scientists in Cyprus have found 25 cases of a strain of the coronavirus that they say combines elements of the delta and omicron variants, dubbing it “deltacron,” with a high proportion of the variant found in patients hospitalized for Covid-19, a professor involved in the identification of the new strain said Saturday.

Key Facts
The discovery was made by Leondios Kostrikis, professor of biological sciences at the University of Cyprus and head of the Laboratory of Biotechnology and Molecular Virology, and his team, Bloomberg reported.

The new strain has “omicron-like genetic signatures within the delta genomes,” according to Bloomberg.

Deltacron cases were found in 25 samples taken in Cyprus, of which 11 were from patients hospitalized with Covid and 14 from the general public, according to Cyprus Mail, a local English daily.

Analysis shows deltacron is more often found in patients hospitalized with Covid-19 than those with Covid-19 who are not hospitalized, Kostrikis said.

It is “quite possible” that the new strain has not been found elsewhere, and the sequences of the cases have been sent to GISAID, a Germany-based international database that tracks developments in the coronavirus, the Cyprus Mail reported.

Key Background

In December 2021, Paul Burton, Moderna’s chief medical officer, told the U.K.’s House of Commons that the co-existence of delta and omicron increased the chances of a new variant as a result of them trading genes, the Daily Mail reported. Such recombination is common in coronaviruses, according to the New York Times. Several studies have suggested recombination could cause the virus to change in “dangerous ways,” but could help researchers develop drugs to treat the virus, the Times reported.

If this was a threesome with the influenza would it be called Delcronenza?

What if the virus is trans?

Assuming these are the only 25 cases discovered as the article implies,, the two statements highlighted are mutually exclusive.

Are they intentionally lying or are they just stupid?

There are some statements that the latest version sweeping the world was from mods in mice from a lab

everyone of these gain of function clowns should be tracked down and charged with murder
As long as the so-called scientist keep f***ing with the stuff tptb will just keep using it to thin the herds and destroy freedom

scientists identify Covid strain that combines Delta, Omicron, rabies, bubonic plague, and leprosy. It also causes erectile dysfunction in men and incontinence in women.

Everyone on Earth will need a series of 20 “vaccinations” to keep their sex organs from exploding.

Sigh... It's an RNA virus, it's gonna mutate.

All.

The.

Damn.

Time.

Next week they will find yet another strain. And, the week after that. And, the week after that.
But but. Trust the science dude. Gotta have a booster once a week now!

"Whiter & Brighter" is a marketing euphemism. "New & Improved" another.

"Not one but TWO active ingredients" another.

"More for your money" another.

It's all about MARKETING. The latest & greatest (euphemism) of Covid Variants.

If everyone turned their collective backs and let the contagion progress to a natural conclusion (there WILL be death in this) then THAT would be the best for HUMANITY.

You are creatures of nature. So is contagion - even the ones cooked up in someone's lab bakery.

It's a contest. My bet is humanity wins by a nose. Beetlebaum.

Sorry. I write as an outsider.

Bumble, so nice to see you back again!

If I may give a bit of constructive criticism: often these days you’re attempting to fit a lot of text over your images. That necessitates you making the text very small, which makes it difficult (impossible for me) to read. You might consider adding a white block under your image and put the smaller text there. With a solid background it would be much easier to read. Just a thought.

I'd say "yes" to your question, Cap'n, especially if their lips are moving and they have a serious expression.

Alternatively, I'd suggest that this is another example of sloppy reporting as some journalist hurries to maintain the scoop.

The statement makes sense if one makes the assumption (I know, I know) that the sample sizes of the tested population were significantly different. The total number of people tested in the hospital should be much smaller than the tested population at large, making the deltacron positives much higher per capita among the hospital population.

I don't know for sure, though, but that's about the only way that statement would make any sense to me. Even then, I'm having to assign a much higher intelligence to some journalist than I'd like to.

What if the one from mods in mice from a lab (I assume you mean Omicron), which apparently has far fewer deaths and severe disease associated and yet grants natural immunity (to the degree that works for a constantly mutating virus), was done to function as a self-spreading 'vaccine' to stop the original bioweapon?

You know, the "White Hat Lab" theory?

(Wild speculation, I know...)

Do they still need to be charged with murder?

All joking aside, this actually might be very serious. Deltacron- fast moving and deadlier or Omnita- slow moving and mild. Anyway, if we are in a black hat vs. white hat situation what comes in a few months may be very unsettling.

Don’t know until they are investigated.

This type of research is one of the potentially risky forms of science. Given that there are to many in research today that are only interested in money and have no moral compass, the odds of good coming out of these groups is slim at best

I see Dr. Campbell has a new video out today on YouTube talking about this. It looks like other people have looked into it, including the Dr. in SA that discovered Omicron, and they say it was most likely contamination in a lab or it could have happened in a patient with both Delta and Omicron but they are not concerned about it spreading.

Agreed.
While there is an amazing amount of hype, I also believe throwing the baby out with the bath water is pretty ignorant, too.
