Recipe Salmon Croquettes Like Momma used to make

I like salmon croquettes, but couldn't find my recipe. I searched the Internet and found this guy. He makes them exactly the way I used to. So, we're having them for dinner. I'm going to try some of his other recipes.
There is a great debate whether to debone or not to debone the salmon.

Memaw used to make them with canned salmon. That was "rich man's food". They were only had on special occasions. Same with the oyster soup from canned oysters.

My mother never really made salmon croquettes though on one memorable occasion when we took them camping in Grand Teton and Yellowstone when my kids were little, we made them one night and she shared a bunch of her childhood memories. She still makes the Oyster soup for her and Dad. I never developed the taste for it. The smell gagged me. LOL

Thank you for posting this. Just the other day I was trying to recall how my grandmother used to make them. This is almost verbatim how she did it. It's on the menu for this week!
