For six weeks, the city of Yili in the northwestern province of Xinjiang was under lockdown, but the "famine" crisis continued. Netizens in the area said that hundreds of people die of hunger just in one day. However, local officials later released the "rumor-busting" statement that only 22 people died of starvation daily..

This covers the Ugher area. There are people that have had no food for 40 days. This is coming here soon if things do not change.

I agree. I think I will start posting some fo these that stick out to me. The content in the video, not the presentation which was entirely informative, riled me slightly.

Now if China fails in spectacular fashion helping Russia in Ukraine, this will be used as a push to invade china under humanitarian grounds to free the oppressive starving populace.

And EXACTLY why I posted this.

I would advise that I have done some cursory digging on spotlight on china. The guy has never, ever shown his face. The channel was founded in 2020 during the time when a lot of folks tried to jump on the youtube news band wagon. And I have had no headway on who he or they are. But so far all I can determine is it appears to be true, accurate, and not a fear porn purveyor.

The Chechens that are fighting for russia might have a say so in it.

Putin is/has used them in the ukraine war.

I watched one of them on camera say allahu akbar, after finishing explaining to a reporter, what the ukraine military did in a certain area of ukraine.

First look at the "history" between the 1.3 billion Han Chinese on the mainland and the Turkic groups (140 to 170 million world wide including the 62 million in Turkey) on its borders. It isn't pretty. At the same time the history between the Han and other 54 "recognized" minorities within the PRC isn't all that good either.

Partly why China was treated like a red headed step child that could not stop fighting with its siblings at the treaty of Versailles which for some reason opened the door to found the peoples republic of china to replace or supplant the republic of china...
