Oil Royal Purple

I've been a proponent of RP since the early 90s.

It's really good stuff and there are plenty of testimonials.

I just did an oil change on my big mower, switched to RP after 18+ years. 72" Bad Boy with a 27hp Kawasaki V-twin, water cooled.

After the oil change and mowing for a coupla hours, I idled back to the barn for a cool down.

RP had slicked up the motor such that the curb idle was up 500RPM.

Had to adjust it back down.

I dropped the crush washer for the drain plug, didn't catch it till after i filled the oil.

You can see the plug or get two fingers on it...not both.

Pull the plug..slip the washer on...stuff it back in the hole without spilling more than a tablespoon of oil, yeah not really possible.

Ran a pint of oil into my armpit.

It makes a really strange goop when mixed with Speed Stick deodorant.
