I've been watching a great live video series by the Rebel Capitalist George Gammon. He accepted a challenge to travel from Santiago Chile to Buenos Aries Argentina, using nothing but Bitcoin, Gold and Silver to pay for the trip. Most of the trip was through Argentina with is a lot like the midwest, however there is massive hyper inflation going on there. The situation at the the time of his trip last week was that you could only withdraw about $40 per day from the bank.
I found it very interesting to see what form of barter worked best to meet Georges and 2 friends daily travel expenses. For those that say you can't eat gold, you might be correct.
