Grnhouse Regulating greenhouse temperatures

I have a 10'X24' modified hoop house.
It has pull up sides and a 3' door on one end and a 4'X4' opening on the other end.

I have had this for 7 or 8 years with little success.
It gets too darn hot.
Last year I got a "weather station' that operates on wifi so I could monitor temps.
Frequently, temps were 110-115.
That's with sides pulled up and both openings and a smallish exhaust fan (6000CFM)

Yesterday, my niece's husband suggested shade cloth.
It may work.

How much should be covered?
I'm looking at these
Amazon.com : POYEE 40% 12ftx24ft Black Shade Cloth Taped Edge with Brass Grommets Garden Sun Shade UV Resistant Sunblock Shade Net for Outdoor Plants Vegetables Greenhouse : Patio, Lawn & Garden

Looking at the 12'X24' 40%

Thanks for your help

Do it yourself cooling/evaporater wall....

Even in high humidity areas, they still work to lower temperatures. Of note though the water line that goes from your sump pump(or cheap fountain pump) and back to the top of the cooling wall/evaporator, or pads, should be copper in-between the pump and PVC header pipe. With a couple coils of copper exposed in the sun. It helps evaporation.

Evaporation picks up the heat. The more you can evaporate the water in the cooling pads/evaporator, the more efficient these systems are. If the water is warmed before entering the evaporator, the more it will evaporate.

Also air flow, is a huge thing that sometimes requires more than you think. 3500 cfm is probably not to much for your set up. Get a three speed with 3500 cfm as the high speed, wag...

Just noted you said your exhuast fan is 6000 cfm, that should be plenty, if your sure it's 6000 cfm? If it pulls water out of your evaporator, it's to big....:D

Best of luck.

Thanks for the ideas, West.
I'll look into it.

The fan is actually 3 speed-4800 to 6000
