This one is a nice dish for when your gonna be gone for the day or looking for something good and inexpensive that you don't have to spend much time prepping to make.....

5 to 6 pound pork shoulder butt, cut into 4 even pieces
2 cups Chablis or dry white wine
2 chicken bullion cubes
16 to 20 juniper berries or 3 to 4 tablespoons gin
2 large onions cut into 8th’s
6 large garlic cloves, sliced thin

Place the onions on the bottom of a crock pot and cover with the wine. Mix all the other ingredients except for the meat into the wine and blend thoroughly. Place the meat into the wine mixture. Making sure the liquid covers at least ½ way up the pork. Cook on high for 5 hours. Remove from crock pot and place in a baking dish, pouring the remaining contents of the crock pot over the top of the meat. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 1½ hours. Remove the cover and bake at 400 degrees for an additional ½ hour. If you set the crock on low for 10 hours you eliminate the 1½ hours at 350 and just bake uncovered at the 400 for the ½ hour. (Serves 6)
