I use this packaged mix to rub on meat for the crockpot.
Italian Salad Dressing Mix Recipe
2 tsp oregano
1 tsp onion powder
2 tsp basil
2 tsp paprika
1-1/2 tsp pepper
2 Tbls garlic powder
6 Tbls sugar
Mix and store in air tight container.
To make dressing use 3 Tbls mix with 1-1/2 cup oil and 1/2 cup vinegar.
For recipes that call for a package of the Italian Seasoning Mix use 2tbs. to start and add more according to taste.
