The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Monday shows Barack Obama attracting 42% of the vote while John McCain earns 41%. That’s the lowest level of support measured for Obama since he clinched the Democratic Presidential nomination on June 3. Obama’s support peaked at 48% with data released on June 8, 9, and 10. During that same time frame, McCain’s support has remained steady in the 40% to 42% range (he’s had just one day a point below that range and two days a point above it).
When "leaners" are included, it’s Obama 46% and McCain 45%.
*****
What this really means is that BHO is actually 3-4% behind since a lot of white libs who aver to polls that they'll vote for him absolutely won't pull the lever that way once in the privacy of the voting booth. I personally know several white feminists in a most liberal city who will never vote for him.
ALSO, there are a lot of black people who say they'll vote for him but won't due to the peculiar tendency of black people to undercut successful blacks out of envy or jealousy. Cut off 5% of the black vote there.
