UNEX Question re "Likes"

I noticed something odd today. This morning I had at least 2,005 "Likes." Then this afternoon I noticed they went down to 1,986. Now they are at 1,979.

Are you guys by any chance going back and taking away the "Likes" or is it a glitch?

Normally I click on the bell thingy to see who liked what but since the Israel/Hamas war thread broke, I haven't checked them, so the total stays in red on top of the bell until you click on it.

It's just strange..........

Nope. When you visit a thread that someone "liked" or "quoted" you in, those go out of the count. The count is for the ones you have seen yet, or for threads you haven't revisited yet.

I thought we was supposed to go back and take away our likes after 23hrs.

If a post gets deleted, any likes do get subtracted.
