Harvest purple hands

My fingers and hands have a purple tint to them
I just finished picking a 5 gallons of elderberries
Most I had to use a small boat to get to --the bush was growing on a beaver dam--but it was loaded--almost the entire bucket full came from that one bush
there will be more ripe next week

It has been a couple of years but blackberries do the same thing to me. Gotta love the zen of berry picking.
