Portable bathtub?

I recently saw a M.A.S.H. (sitcom) episode where there was a portable bathtub that folded up, fitting into a box. It folded up like a army cot would. When it was set up, it held water and a adult could completely fit in it.

Is there such a thing, and where would I find it if it is real?

Or...... Set up a frame of timbers or something and stretch heavy mil plastic sheeting into it and fill with water. You can build it as deep or long as you need it. Especially helpful if you are especially tall. You could even make it comfortable by filling the bottom with sand (under the plastic) so it is soft to sit in.

It could be done in the kitchen by using a large utility plastic bin. Use it for laundry when not in use as a bathtub.

Get one of those large semi truck innertubes. Inflate and line the inside with plastic sheeting. Fill with water. Enjoy your bath.

The same innertube, in a hurried bug out situation, can be used to ferry yourself and/or your stuff acrossed a river.

I find a 100 gal stock tank is just right. I spent some time cooling off in one filled with running spring water last summer. When empty it is easy to pick up and move.

We use the same rough tubs (made of plastic) that we store our prep items in. The big ones with wheels are about the size of a small bath tub. They hold four sleeping bags, liners and inflatable air mattresses as a bounus.......or is it the other way around?

OP, a kiddie pool is a thought, though you'd probably need several of them, for replacements over time.

Mushroom, that is a great idea. Have you ever seen it done successfully? I would wonder if the weight of the water would hold.

Cap, the inner tube sounds like a fun idea.

Thanks for all of the suggestions. I'm printing out this thread to keep.
