WTF now we are able to solicit donations for politicians when I was not allowed by board rules to even let anyone know the rescue I work with was having a fun fund raiser to earn some money to help pay vet bills for two very sick rescue Malamutes. And we are a 501(c)3 non-profit not some pol. who can use the money to go out and party or pay their mortgage.

This is NOT a rant against Ron Paul - but I would have said the same thing if it were for any politician from city dog catcher on up.

I won't give money to RP. Four years ago, after his last big money bomb, he pulled out of the presidential primaries to pursue his Congressional race. I never even got to VOTE for him. Never again. No money from me unless they are still in the race when my state votes. Let the big money people pay the early ticket.

Which is exactly what happened with me. First political donation I had made in over 20 years.
