COMM Panda Bears Leaving

Just heard that the lease on the Panda bears at zoos by China is ending. Came from the Memphis TN zoo. Evidently China wants the Panda Bears to be able to live out their days in China.

Looks like they were spies all along. I'm for a summary field trial, hanging and send them back in a urn, POD. tell the winnie the poo lookin mfer cartoon bears disquised as commies are next. But I'm a hardliner.

eta they were sent as a symbolic token of friendship... so what symbolism do you suppose we should take away from them being retracted? ...we already know.

We are sad to see them go, but glad that we had them for a few years anyway.

Youngest daughter and son in law took the grandkids to see them this past Saturday since they’ll be leaving. They’ve been there for several years the best I remember.

I think my daughter said other zoos are losing their Pandas too. E.g. San Francisco.

There is no real difference between looking at PHOTOS of LIVE animals and looking at PHOTOS of dinosaurs and other extinct animals!
If you have not actually seen it in real life, it is a matter of TRUSTING SOMEONE'S WORD that it actually exists now.
And, photographic animation and manipulation has been perfected to the point that it is hard to tell what's real and what is not.
So, an "endangered species" of plant, animal, or other protected phenomena, (cave painting, etc) CAN be an entirely hoaxed imagining of someone with an agenda it would support..
Panda bears are real, but some things may not be.
It pays to have a slight skeptical streak.
