I am wondering anyone knows if the monoclonal antibodies help to return the sense of smell?
I realized it was gone today.
I have an incredibly strong sense of smell normally. It's like one of my super powers is now gone.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this Hunybee! I had covid followed by pneumonia as well. If you don’t have a nebulizer, you may want to have someone find you one. The z pac didn’t knock the pneumonia out for me. But since I had a nebulizer I was able to do albuteral breathing treatments at home. That really helped to quell the coughing. I still needed another round of antibiotics and was considering going back to the dr after I finished those because I was still coughing a lot and very fatigued. I decided to try nebulizing colloidal silver. Right after the first time I tried it I started coughing everything up. And that’s when I finally started feeling better. I wish I’d tried it sooner. I lost my smell and taste for a few days, but it came back. My son however was sick at the same time as me and has been without smell and taste since Oct 20th. I’m making him take zinc daily. I think that’s one of those symptoms that can linger in some people. I hope you aren’t one of them!
Hunybee, if they gave you a shot of steroid for the pneumonia (or put you on prednisone), that will also take away your sense of taste/smellfor about a month). Have no idea what you could take if you have no steroids in you and it's just covid-related. Rest assured, once you kick this, (or about a month after the steroids), you smell and taste will come back.
Adding your caregiver and hubby to my prayers.
On a lighter side, now would be a good time to eat that liver you've always hated, raising your vitamin A, B, C, and iron levels.
Adding my prayers!
With COVID, please do NOT supplement iron! Ferritin levels (iron levels) shoot through the roof in levels not seen with other infections. DO NOT supplement IRON with. COVID.
Keep us posted!
Rest & hydrate!
