My mom and her husdand both got hit with this. She 72 and he's 80. They had extreme flu symptoms at first. She went to the hospital and they could only keep her for a short time (enough to get a her some take-home oxygen concentrator and a couple bags of IV in her). They said they were too full and the next city over was too. They ended up recovering at home. Thankfully they had a nephew that had just recovered from covid and was able to get them some pedialyte and script nebulizer meds. I had her get some Ivermectin ahead of time.

Praying for a mild case. sounds like your ER is much better than the one we went to. And we missed out on the infusion which would have made our case much milder. Although we were already in bad shape when we went to the er.

Sweetie, I'm not her caregiver, although I wish I could be. Just a friend . . . and I love her dearly. Do pray for her DH and her kids.

UPDATE: After a bureaucratic setback that miraculously resolved itself, hunybee is on the schedule to receive antibodies tomorrow. Please add to your prayers the medical staffer who is handling her case.

i'm gonna try to update through cyberiot as much as i can. i am pretty rough though, so i cannot be upright much.

please pray for a very special person that is taking a risk to help me. please pray for protection and blessing on them.

Done, pretty lady. Your special person hides their wings so the world will not See, but those like you know exactly who they are. Prayers for protection and healing for all involved. (((Hugs))).
